Lens & Latitude is a one-of-a-kind mentorship experience for young filmmakers, explorers, and visual storytellers (ages 16–25) who want to create powerful short films with depth, integrity, and impact.

Led by BAFTA-winning cinematographer and director of photography Ted Giffords, this 6-month journey will guide you from concept to final showcase — with honest feedback, tailored mentorship, and a clear creative path shaped just for you.

Ted Giffords is a BAFTA-winning cinematographer and director of photography with over 25 years' experience filming documentaries and natural history around the world. His work has appeared on BBC, Netflix, Channel 5, and National Geographic, capturing everything from remote Arctic landscapes to quiet human stories.

Ted has led international film crews in extreme environments, mentored emerging talent into the industry, and contributed to award-winning campaigns for peace, conservation, and cultural heritage.

Known for his calm presence, observational eye, and deep storytelling instinct, Ted now shares his expertise with the next generation of filmmakers through Lens & Latitude — guiding young creatives to find stories in the unseen and bring them powerfully to life.
